hey so about your yeti skin change
i do still get slowed down by struggling through sufficiently frigid areas, as a yeti-skin-but-not-yeti-fur. it's rather annoying, because the sky is often one of those. or if i'm not, then i get "You struggle to trudge on through the bitter cold." messages anyway and it *feels* like i'm slower? - yeah it actually does, wtf? maybe it wasn't cold enough? I'll fix it up Sparrow (talk) 13:27, 29 November 2024 (EST)
- oh nvm you did already, okay Sparrow (talk) 13:27, 29 November 2024 (EST)
another question about edit (plant whisperer)
in my limited experience, fertilizing didn't seem to interfere with plants rustling? so i'm not sure quite how much the advice to sequence them such that the rustle happens first is applicable, especially for coventry plantains whose rustles are really really slow. confirm, please? Chara (talk) 02:04, 4 December 2024 (EST)
- The plants store 'charges' even when full, as long as they've been left untouched for a while - they update on next heartbeat and get full (again, if enough time have passed) fruits. This isn't the case if the plant is high-traffic and is harvested a lot. Sparrow (talk) 17:43, 6 December 2024 (EST)
- i mean, yes. but why sequence it as 'loot plant, wait for the charge to go off, then fertilize' as opposed to with the last two steps swapped? Chara (talk) 22:24, 6 December 2024 (EST)
- I barely used PW overall, but I think it's less prone to trigger the plant rustling if you're slow and heartbeat procs and just do it after the plant rustles instead of trying to do it after the first batch. Feel free to edit it back I guess Sparrow (talk) 00:53, 7 December 2024 (EST)
