You know what the problem is with being the smartest person in the world? Everyone else seems stupid!

Swollen Brain is a mutation hidden within the sewers beneath freedom city, and is mutually exclusive with Brute Strength. It raises your Brains and Senses at the cost of Cool, and is also a pre-requisite to become an Empath.

Location

Swollen Brain is located in the sewers beneath Gangland and Freedom City. The easiest way to reach the mutation is to head straight west on Pike Street in Freedom City into Gangland, then head down into the sewers from Pike Street station. Do note that to reach the mutation spot you need someone to flip a nearby switch, so bring a friend or pay someone (or pay a friend if they don't really like you). After the switch is flipped, travel across the bridge to the south and west where a certain small boss can be found, along with the Swollen Brain mutation.

Advantages

• Substantial buff to Brains - A bonus to Brains is very useful for anybody that wants to take advantage of brainy skills such as Crafting, Repairing, Science and so on.
• Small buff to Senses - Having a small boost to Senses is beneficial for just about any build that utilizes Dodge or other skills that require senses.

Disadvantages

• Unable to take Brute Strength - Sadly, because your brain is so big, you can't take this in addition with Brute Strength, you can either be swole headed, or swole bodied, not both.
• Small hit to Cool - Cool is more frequently known as a bit of a dump stat, so the -1 from Swollen Brain isn't too bad considering you can increase cool very easily with bling and implants.
