Once a distant corner of Freedom City's suburban sprawl, this "town" is now cut off from civilization by a vast radioactive wasteland. Mostly deserted, there is little of value that wasn't scavenged long ago. Still, what remains may be of historical interest to anyone curious about the pre-apocalyptic past.
Birchwood is a fairly small area north-east of New Clearwater that houses a large number of ghosts. Typically apparitions, though Great Old Ones are far from uncommon. This makes this area perfect for people trying to do the ghostbuster job, and due to its location and obscure nature, you typically wont find many other people wandering around.
Birchwood Heights is a smaller area to the north-east that has recently been covered in a thick fog and tales of horrible monsters have surfaced, but those that have tried to investigate these claims were never seen again.
