Desert

The Desert, also known as Glass Mesa, is a dead wasteland of a place.

At one point this could have been a giant lake or dam, before the bombs fell. Whatever water was once here, is now long gone. Better bring your own! Glass Mesa is not for the weak, nor the unprepared. Scorpions, Sand Worms, radiation, and the searing sun are all out to kill you, in whatever way possible. Bring plenty of water, some anti-rad medical supplies, and you may survive long enough to scavenge some parts, find the rot fruit tree, or even help a friend get home after escaping the CUBE.

Scorpions are good for their venom sacs, as well as rot fruit being used in a few specialist recipes, making those corp members who can scavenge and survive in this harsh area, a valued member of the team indeed.
