X-ray Vision is a mutation found in the abandoned complex. It allows you to see into people's inventories and into closed containers. Additionally, your ability to see through junk gets you +1 to medic, scavenge, and locksmith. However, you have trouble seeing in the dark.

Location

Bottom of the Abandoned Complex somewhere in Mountain Pass.

Advantages

• +1 Medic, +1 Scavenge, +1 Locksmith. Are welcome, but very miniscule changes, only really useful for brainies.
• Ability to peek into containers and people. Rolls are dependant on how much junk they are wearing or is in container.
• Can see other @nudes by looking at people, you perv.
• Incredibly niche Chud synergy. 'Dark areas become darker', below, cancels out the visual elements of Chud's light-sensitivity. Chudray mutants can walk around without sunglasses!

Disadvantages

• Always see other @nudes whenever looking at people, even if they're fully clothed. This makes you horny, and has a chance of giving the observed person an exhibitionism fetish. You cannot turn this off. Whenever you look at someone, you will also see what they look like if naked.
• Dark areas become darker. Dimly-lit night areas become pitch dark, making lanterns or belt lights a must-have. Night vision googles or rhodopsin implant make it a non-issue.
• Not very useful. The buffs are tiny and the xray is of little use - containers can be smashed faster than you type xray cabinet, and you can tell most people's equipment without x-raying them.

Appearance

The mutation doesn't change mutant's appearance, but gives text when used.

During use:

User squints up their eyes and peers intently at Target.

As victim:

You feel a strange tingling sensation in your belly.
